1. Overview
At Jewels by Sourabh (operated by Sovish Fine LLC), your satisfaction with every purchase is deeply important to us. We craft and curate fine jewellery using gold, diamonds, and precious gemstones, and we stand behind the quality of every piece we sell.
Please read this policy carefully before placing your order, as different rules apply to standard ready-to-ship items versus custom and made-to-order jewellery.

3. Standard / Ready-to-Ship Items — Returns & Refunds
3.1 Return Window
We accept returns on standard, ready-to-ship items within 14 days of the delivery date as confirmed by the carrier's tracking record.
Here's how the 14 days work:
Days 1–7: Contact us at sovishfine@gmail.com to initiate your return and receive your Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA).
Days 8–14: Once authorised, you have 7 additional days to securely pack and ship your item back to us.
Requests made after 7 days of delivery will not be eligible for a return authorisation. Items shipped back without prior RMA, or shipped after the 14-day window, will not be accepted.
3.2 Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- The item must be in its original, unworn, and unaltered condition.
- All original tags, certificates (diamond/gemstone grading certificates, if any), and packaging must be intact and included.
- The item must show no signs of wear, resizing, engraving, or damage caused after delivery.
- The return must be initiated within the 14-day window by contacting us at sovishfine@gmail.com.
We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item does not meet the above conditions upon inspection.
3.3 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:
- Custom design jewellery (see Section 4)
- Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
- Items that have been resized, engraved, or altered after delivery
- Items purchased during special promotions or clearance sales marked as non-returnable
- Gift cards
- Items returned without prior authorisation from our team
3.4 Your Choice — Refund or Exchange
When a return is accepted, you may choose either:
Option A — Full Refund
A full refund of the purchase price will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process and post the refund to your account.
Option B — Exchange
You may exchange your item for another piece of equal or different value available on our website. If the new item is of higher value, you will be charged the difference. If it is of lower value, the difference will be refunded to your original payment method.
4. Custom designed Jewellery — Exchange Only Policy
All custom designed pieces are final sale. Because these items are uniquely crafted to your specifications — including metal type, gemstone selection, size, and design — we do not accept returns or issue refunds on custom orders once production has begun.
4.1 When Is an Exchange Accepted?
We will, however, offer an exchange or remake at no additional cost in the following situations:
- Sizing Issues: The piece does not fit as expected due to a manufacturing error on our part (i.e., the size delivered differs from the size confirmed in your order).
- Manufacturing Defects: The item has a visible defect in craftsmanship, such as a broken setting, loose stone, or structural flaw that was present at the time of delivery.
- Incorrect Item: You received a piece different from what was confirmed in your order.
- Damage During Transit: The item arrived damaged due to shipping (subject to photographic evidence submitted within 48 hours of delivery).
4.2 What Is Not Covered for Custom designed Orders
The following are not considered valid grounds for an exchange on custom orders:
- A change of mind after production has begun
- Dissatisfaction with the design that was approved by you prior to production
- Slight natural variations in gemstone colour, inclusion, or metal finish that are within normal manufacturing tolerances
- Sizing issues where the size delivered matches the size specified in your order
4.3 How to Request a Custom Designed Order Exchange
If your custom order qualifies for an exchange under Section 4.1, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at sovishfine@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a clear description of the issue.
- Provide photographs and/or video clearly showing the defect, incorrect sizing, or damage.
- Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days and confirm eligibility.
- If approved, we will provide return shipping instructions. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will begin the remake or correction process.
- The corrected or exchanged piece will be produced and shipped within the standard custom production time of 2–4 weeks.
5. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange (All Orders)
To start any return or exchange request, please follow these steps:
1. Contact Us First — Email us at sovishfine@gmail.com within the applicable window (14 days for standard items; 48 hours for custom order issues) with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return or exchange
- The reason for your return or exchange request
- Photographs of the item (required for defects or damage claims)
2. Wait for Authorisation — Do not ship your item back without receiving a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) from our team. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted and may be returned to sender.
3. Ship the Item Back — Once your RMA is approved, ship the item back to the address provided in your authorisation email. See Section 6 for return shipping details.
4. Inspection & Resolution — Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the item within 2–3 business days and process your refund or initiate your exchange accordingly.
6. Return Shipping
6.1 Who Pays for Return Shipping
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges (if any were applicable) are non-refundable.
6.2 How to Ship Your Return
Given the high value of our jewellery, we strongly require that all return shipments meet the following standards:
- Use a tracked and insured shipping service (USPS, UPS, or FedEx recommended).
- Insure the package for the full purchase value of the item.
- Use signature confirmation on delivery.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging where possible.
Jewels by Sourabh is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged during return transit. The risk of loss during return shipping is entirely with the customer until the package is received and signed for by us.
6.3 International Returns
Customers returning items from outside the United States are responsible for:
- All return shipping and insurance costs
- Any export/import duties or customs fees incurred during the return shipment
- Ensuring the item is correctly declared as a "Return of Previously Exported Goods" on customs documentation to avoid additional import duties upon re-entry into the US or India
Please contact us before shipping internationally, as we will provide specific customs documentation guidance to ensure a smooth return process.
7. Refund Processing
Once your returned item is received and inspected:
- We will notify you by email of the outcome of your inspection within 2–3 business days.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- If your return is not approved (item does not meet eligibility conditions), we will notify you and arrange to ship the item back to you.
Please note: Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement after we process it. This is outside our control.
8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us at sovishfine@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photographs and/or video showing the damage, defect, or discrepancy
We will prioritise your case and offer one of the following resolutions at no cost to you:
- A full refund to your original payment method
- A replacement or remake of the item
- An exchange for another item of your choice
In cases of damage or defect, we will cover the return shipping cost by providing a prepaid return label.
9. Cancellations
We don't accept cancellation of any type of order. However If you have any issue, please contact us or mail us at sovishfine@gmail.com within 24 hours of order placed.
10. Jewellery Care & Warranty
While not a return or refund matter, please note that fine jewellery requires proper care. Damage resulting from misuse, improper storage, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear after delivery is not covered under this Return & Refund Policy.
We recommend:
- Storing your jewellery in the provided gift box when not in use
- Avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or cleaning agents
- Removing jewellery before swimming, exercising, or sleeping
