1. Overview
At Jewels by Sourabh (operated by Sovish Fine LLC), we are committed to delivering your fine and custom jewellery safely, securely, and promptly to your doorstep — anywhere in the world. Because we work with precious materials including gold, diamonds, and gemstones, every order is packaged with the utmost care and shipped with full insurance and tracking.
We offer complimentary shipping on all orders worldwide, with no minimum purchase required.
2. Shipping Origin
Jewels by Sourabh fulfils orders from two locations — our US base and our production facility in India. Depending on your order type and current fulfilment status, your package may be dispatched from either location:
- Ready-to-ship & in-stock items are typically dispatched from the United States.
- Custom and made-to-order jewellery is crafted at our production facility in India and ships directly from there once your piece is complete and has passed quality inspection.
The shipping origin does not affect the quality, packaging, insurance coverage, or our free shipping offer in any way. However, transit times and customs documentation will reflect the actual country of dispatch. Your dispatch confirmation email will always clearly indicate which country your order is shipping from, along with your tracking number.
3. Order Processing Time
All orders are carefully reviewed, quality-inspected, and prepared before dispatch. Please allow the following processing times before your order ships:
Standard / Ready-to-Ship Items
- Processing Time: 10–12 business days from the date of order confirmation and successful payment.
- Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.
- These orders are typically dispatched from the United States.
Custom & Made-to-Order Jewellery
- Production Time: 2–4 weeks from the date of order confirmation, design approval (if applicable), and payment clearance.
- Custom orders are crafted at our production facility in India and ship directly from there.
- Once your piece is complete and passes quality inspection, please allow an additional 2–3 business days for export documentation and carrier pickup in India before your tracking number becomes active.
- You will receive an email notification as soon as your order ships, along with your tracking number and the shipping origin country.
Please Note: Processing and production times are separate from shipping transit times. Your total delivery window = processing/production time + shipping transit time.
4. Free Shipping — All Orders
Jewels by Sourabh offers free shipping on every order, domestic and international, regardless of order value or shipping origin. No minimum purchase is required. The shipping carrier and service level are selected by us based on your location, order value, and dispatch origin to ensure the safest and most reliable delivery.
5. Domestic Shipping (United States)

- All domestic orders are shipped fully insured and with signature confirmation required upon delivery, given the high value of our jewellery.

- US customers receiving custom orders dispatched from India should refer to the international transit times in Section 6 below, as the package will clear US customs before final delivery to your address.
6. International Shipping
We ship worldwide to most countries. International transit times vary by destination and by the country of dispatch (US or India). The table below reflects standard estimates from the time of dispatch:

All transit times are estimates from the date of dispatch and may vary due to customs processing, carrier capacity, or local postal conditions.
Your dispatch confirmation email will specify which country your order is shipping from, so you can refer to the correct column above.
Shipping Carriers
We use USPS Priority Mail International, UPS Worldwide, and FedEx International for all cross-border shipments. For orders dispatched from India, we work with trusted local logistics partners who hand off to UPS or FedEx for international transit. The carrier is selected based on your destination country and the safest available service.
7. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
Jewels by Sourabh ships internationally on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.
This means:
- The product price and shipping are free, but any applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or brokerage fees charged by your country's customs authority are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- These charges are not included in your order total and are not collected by us at checkout.
- We are unable to predict the exact amount of customs fees, as they vary by country, product type, and declared value.
Important — Dual Shipping Origin:
- Orders dispatched from the United States will carry US export documentation.
Orders dispatched from India will carry Indian export documentation (including an Indian commercial invoice and export declaration). - In both cases, the declared value on customs documents will reflect the full purchase price of your item.
- Import duties in your country will apply based on the actual country of dispatch and your local customs regulations. Some countries may charge different duty rates on jewellery imported from India vs the USA — we encourage you to check your local rates before ordering.
We do not under-declare values or mark orders as "gifts" to avoid customs fees, regardless of request. This is a legal requirement and non-negotiable.
If a package is refused or unclaimed due to unpaid customs duties, we are not responsible for any resulting loss, and return shipping costs (if applicable) will be deducted from any eligible refund.
8. Shipment Tracking
- Every order ships with a tracking number, which will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched.
- Your dispatch email will specify the carrier and the country your order is shipping from.
You can track your order on the carrier's website (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) using the provided tracking number. - Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear after dispatch.
- For orders shipped from India, tracking may show an initial hold period during Indian export customs clearance before international movement begins — this is normal.
- For international orders, tracking visibility may become limited once the package enters the destination country's local postal network.
9. Insurance & Signature Confirmation
Because we deal exclusively in fine jewellery of significant value, all orders are fully insured for their declared purchase value during transit — regardless of whether they ship from the US or India. In the unlikely event of loss or damage during shipping, please contact us immediately so we can initiate a carrier claim on your behalf.
Signature confirmation is required on delivery for all orders. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery:
- The carrier will leave a delivery attempt notice.
- You may reschedule delivery or arrange pickup at your nearest carrier facility.
- Please ensure your shipping address is attended during the estimated delivery window.
We are unable to waive the signature requirement as it is a security measure to protect your valuable purchase.
10. Packaging
All Jewels by Sourabh orders — regardless of shipping origin — are:
- Packed in our signature jewellery gift box, ideal for gifting.
- Placed in a discreet, tamper-evident outer shipping box with no external branding indicating the contents are jewellery, for security purposes.
- Wrapped with protective padding to prevent movement or damage during transit.
Custom orders dispatched from India undergo the same packaging standards at our production facility before being handed to the carrier.
11. Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address
Please carefully review your shipping address before completing your order. Jewels by Sourabh is not responsible for delays, non-delivery, or losses resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
- If you notice an error in your shipping address after placing an order, contact us immediately at sovishfine@gmail.com. We will do our best to update it before dispatch.
- Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to redirect it to a different address.
- If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, re-shipping fees may apply.
12. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
We take the safety of your order very seriously. In the rare event of an issue:
Lost Packages: If your tracking shows no movement for more than 10 business days (domestic) or 21 business days (international), please contact us at sovishfine@gmail.com. We will file a claim with the carrier and work to resolve the situation promptly.
Damaged Packages: If your order arrives visibly damaged, please:
- Take photographs of the outer packaging and the item before opening or removing anything.
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sovishfine@gmail.com with the photos and your order number.
- We will review the claim and arrange a replacement or resolution in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Stolen Packages (Porch Theft): Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, Jewels by Sourabh is not liable for theft. We recommend shipping to a secure address or using a carrier pickup location. Signature confirmation is already our standard practice and provides an additional layer of protection.
13. Shipping Restrictions
- We are currently unable to ship to P.O. Boxes for orders above a certain value due to carrier insurance limitations. If a P.O. Box is your only available address, please contact us before ordering.
- We do not ship to countries under US trade sanctions or export restrictions, or countries that India's export regulations prohibit. Orders placed to restricted destinations will be cancelled and refunded.
- Some countries have import restrictions on precious metals and gemstones. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm whether import is permitted in their country before placing an order.
14. Holiday & Peak Season Shipping
During major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Diwali) and peak shopping seasons, processing times and carrier transit times may be longer than usual. We recommend placing your order well in advance — ideally 4–6 weeks before any gifting occasion — to ensure timely delivery.
Custom orders during peak periods should be placed even earlier, given the 2–4 week production time. We will post holiday cut-off dates on our website and social media channels as they approach.
